Costa Rica Real Estate Promises More

The American real estate market does not seem to improve, it keeps plummeting and alternative investments are gaining popularity with time. The Costa Rica real estate market is one of the most stable ones in the world and has kept this way through the international crisis, this is way it is now one of the preferred options for Americans who are looking for alternatives to invest their money in.

But many people keep wondering what it is that makes real estate in Costa Rica so desired and promising.

In the first place, people who invested in Costa Rica real estate 15 o 20 years ago bought beautiful beach front properties for price tags ranging between $10,000 and $20,000, those same properties are now worth about $500,000. But don’t get discouraged by these numbers, Costa Rica still has plenty of unexplored areas that are just perfect for profitable development.

A big plus is that expats keep moving to Costa Rica, with their savings and social security checks, to retire or take long winter (summer in Costa Rica) vacations on their second home, among other reasons. They encouraged by many obvious and real reasons, real estate is much cheaper than in the U.S.A, the cost of living is considerably lower and lush rainforest as well as some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are widely available.

Baby boomers are starting to relocate to Costa Rica in great numbers; most of them are close to turning 65 and retiring, if they have not retired already. It is said the Costa Rica will become a new kind of Florida, with developments for retirees already in construction and services for Medicare checks transfer already available.

It is widely known that real estate can be one of the best investments a person can make, returning amazing profits when it is done professionally and intelligently; and the intelligent move right now is to forget about the nose diving US market and concentrate in stable and promising markets like Costa Rica.
